Father of Pentium Chip

Invention: Intel Pentium Chip 

Vinod Dham is an Indian inventor, entrepreneur and also a venture capitalist. He was the man behind the invention of Pentium chip, so he called as the father of the Pentium chip. He was also a good advisor and investor.  He was in the board of many companies and the managing director of Indo US Venture Partners. As an investor, he gave more promising startup fund to many companies through his india based fund.
Vinod Dham was born in the year 1950. In 1971 he completed his graduation in electrical engineering, in Delhi College of Engineering. Then he joined the University of Cincinnati to do his master degree in electrical engineering with the specialization of solid state science in 1975. In 1977, dham joined and worked in NCR Corporation at ohio. He worked on developing advanced non-volatile memories.
 After that Vinod Dham, joined Intel where he invented the famous Pentium chip. He is also a co-inventor of flash memory technology which is the Intel’s first flash memory. And then he became a vice-president of micro processor group at Intel. He left intel in the year 1995.
The following are the other contribution of vinod dham,
  •    He played an instrumental role in the launch of K6, the Pentium killer processor.
  •    He became a vice president in AMD computation products group.
  •    In 1998 April month, he leads a nascent startup named silicon spice that directed him to build a VOIP chip.
  •    He launched an incubator named NewPath ventures.
  •    He was a board member and advisor for many private and public companies
